Starts out in business and commercial software, learning operations from the shop floor up.

Three decades of building systems people actually use.
I started in business in the 1990s, when most companies in Pakistan still ran on ledgers, carbon copies and memory. What I learned early has guided everything since: software only matters if it fits how people really work at the counter, in the warehouse and in the accounts office.
In 2001 I took the helm of Orison Technologies and led it for nearly two decades. In 2003 I founded Retaillian Technologies. From 2005 we built the POS and inventory systems that Lahore's department stores came to rely on. For years we sold that software in the local market. Since 2020 we have been exporting it, and it has grown into cloud and desktop retail systems for Pakistan, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Along the way my teams have delivered software and ERP projects for clients in Pakistan, Canada and the United States. That includes work with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics and Business Central, and QuickBooks, and projects for organisations such as Coca-Cola, Crescent Group, Thuraya Pakistan and NADRA.
Today I serve as CTO of Quantiqs, a Texas-based AI and computer-vision company, and I'm building AIFFICIENTO, an AI-first retail operating system. AI is changing every field I work in, quickly. I want to pass on what I've learned to the next generation so they can move with it, not behind it.
Build around real customer needs, keep technology commercially grounded, and create systems that stay useful long after the first implementation.
